Well, I sincerely hope so. If we continue playing like this, chances are big. But in April we have to play 7 matches, gonna be hard. But we might never have another European campain like this again in the near future, so we just enjou everything. We WANT to win the title, but we don't HAVE to win it. That's the beauty of this Club... If we don't win a prize in another 10 years, we will still be one, people keep coming to the stadium and support their team... Check this, this says it all:

Are you gonna win the league this year? It's looking quite good, no?

You bet man. It was awesome. Very early 1-0 for Club, in the 89th minute Anderlecht equalize, 2 goals were disallowed before, very dubious, but moments after the equalizer Club scored again, FORMIDABLE!!!!

Nice one. I can imagine it's extra sweet to beat Anderlecht.

We even have sympathy with the fans of our rivals Standard because of what Duchatelet is doing to their club. A real shame...
At the moment, Guy Luzon is certainly the man in London SE7.
15 points in the last 6 games with 13 goals scored and only 4 goals conceded. Not exactly the 'usual stuff' for us Charlton fans.
Only points lost was the 2-0 defeat away to top of the table, Derby County.

All hell broke loose at Sclessin yesterday. Standard lost yet another game, at home to Zulte Waregem, who were last in the table. Standard hooligans fought their way through to the main stand to get to mister Duchatelet and the coach, Luzon. Seats landed on the pitch, as were fans standing on it. The ref quit the game for the first time in minute 80, and ended the game 30 seconds before full time. After the game the fans went to the director's seat, but mister Duchatelet was already led away from the stadium.

Rumours are now that Luzon will become coach of Charlton and Peeters is heading to Standard, although I don't believe this is going to happen... Peeters would be crazy to leave Charlton now, especially because the Standard team is such a mess too + he's doing great in England. Duchatelet is really making a big mess of this Standard...

As for Club Brugge, we won the big game at Lokeren yesterday and are up to 2nd place now, 3 points behind Anderlecht. For the first time Club is having a big squad with very good replacements on the bench. Thursday we play Copenhagen at home, let's hope for another win for us. Probably not gonna be there though :(
    It's been almost 1,5 year since I watched a Club-game live :o
Peeters sacked, as we haven't won since 21st October.
Guy Luzon rumoured to be appointed as our new manager...

Another one from the 'network'. Hmmm...

Fans are starting to get frustrated with Duchatelet. It's clear that he wants a big say in who we sign and who's in the team.

Some more information: very good left and right foot, less football brains, can make a good action, scores regularly, makes a lot of wrong decisions at the moment of truth, but when his form is good, he plays really good and can star in a mid table 1st league team in belgium

    Thanks for your research :-)

Don't know much about him since he's playing a division lower, but I asked a friend: he's a quick winger who broke through at Roeselare, went to Lierse but didn't do well there, now at STVV he's one of the better players in the team, should be able to cope with the level of football in Superliga.

I'll try to get more information.

Thank you for the information. Let's hope he can make it here. Just a transfer to make the A-team stronger, we also signed Denswil from Ajax yesterday on a free transfer. Everything looks great for Club, 4 points clear in the league, 1/4 finales of the Belgian Cup and 1/16th finals in the Europa League where we play Aalborg.
